Staff Product Manager, Physical AI

About the role

Homebound is seeking a Staff Product Manager to lead the strategy and execution of AI technology for construction sites. This role involves bridging the gap between digital AI models and physical, real-world environments, focusing on mobile field applications, onsite capture, and predictive scheduling. You will drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring AI solutions are robust, accurate, and effective for field teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the field AI strategy and roadmap from concept through rollout and adoption.
• Translate computer vision, VLMs, and agents into products that function reliably on active jobsites.
• Establish evaluation sets and quality frameworks for AI features and design human-in-the-loop review processes.
• Define the direction for field technology and shape how the company applies new capabilities.
• Drive initiatives across Construction Operations, Field Operations, and Engineering teams.
• Write clear requirements, prioritize based on impact and effort, and define success metrics for field efficiency.
