Head of Security, Privacy & IT

About the role

The Head of Security, Privacy & IT will lead a high-calibre team to protect customer assets and drive the security, privacy, and IT roadmap. This role involves balancing risk reduction with business growth, setting guardrails for AI adoption, and ensuring compliance while supporting the company's scaling efforts. You will work closely with leadership to foster a security-by-design culture across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-calibre team across security, privacy, and IT functions.
• Create and deliver a strategic roadmap that balances risk reduction with business velocity.
• Advise the leadership team on security and privacy risks with pragmatic recommendations.
• Set guardrails for AI adoption across employee tooling and product features.
• Own application and cloud security, including SDLC integration and incident response.
• Ensure UK/EU GDPR compliance and act as the first line of defense for privacy matters.
• Manage corporate IT, workplace technology, identity and access management, and hardware lifecycle across office sites.
