About the role

Domera Labs is building Ami, an AI-powered voice companion for seniors designed to combat loneliness and isolation. As a founding-level member of the technical staff, you will architect and ship the on-device software for this mass-market consumer hardware. You will work closely with ODM and silicon partners to ensure seamless performance, reliability, and user experience for a non-technical demographic.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and ship on-device application and services for a mass-market consumer device
  • Manage device identity, fleet management, and secure provisioning systems
  • Develop reliable maintenance channels for field debugging and factory testing
  • Design a screenless, intuitive out-of-the-box network onboarding experience for seniors
  • Implement robust flash and update management, including A/B OTA rollouts and rollback mechanisms
  • Collaborate with ODM and silicon partners on audio front-end integration and platform behaviors
  • Support the device through EVT, DVT, and PVT manufacturing stages
