AI/ML Engineering Manager

About the role

Caylent is an AI-first cloud services company seeking a senior leader to manage a team of ML engineers and architects while driving complex customer engagements. This role requires a balance of people management, strategic advisory, and hands-on technical delivery. You will be responsible for hiring, team development, and ensuring the technical quality of AI/ML solutions delivered to clients.

Responsibilities

• Hire and build a high-performing team of ML engineers and architects.
• Provide structured mentorship, performance management, and career development for team members.
• Lead end-to-end ML assessments and shape architectural direction for customer environments.
• Advise customers on MLOps, LLMOps, and sustainable production monitoring standards.
• Partner with sales and solutions teams to drive pre-sales and accurately scope technical work.
• Lead engagements from kickoff through delivery, serving as the primary technical authority.

Qualifications
