Working Student Indexing Platform

About the role

The Aggregate team at Solactive is looking for a working student to contribute to the intraday calculation of indices. You will work alongside senior engineers to implement features, write tests, and build integrations using Java and Python. This role offers the opportunity to contribute production-bound code to a high-impact platform while developing backend engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement well-scoped features and fixes in the Java calculation platform
• Write unit, integration, and performance tests for concurrent code paths
• Investigate and resolve correctness or performance issues with senior guidance
• Build and maintain Python integrations, connectors, and operational tools
• Contribute to monitoring and developer tooling to improve system observability
• Participate in design and code reviews and document technical learnings
