Senior Data Engineer - Real time analytics

About the role

Aircall is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Analytics & Data Platform team to manage our analytics and event platform stack. You will build features for over 22,000 customers, unlocking data value through real-time insights, monitoring, and comprehensive analytical reports. This role involves designing scalable, low-latency streaming solutions and delivering end-to-end data modules.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements analysis, solution design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of near real-time data solutions.
• Analyze business needs to create data models and optimize for big data.
• Identify slow queries and optimize performance.
• Write clean, scalable code using Scala, Python, or SQL, and manage testing and deployment.
• Solve complex data problems using optimal architectures and frameworks for structured and unstructured data.
• Participate in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring.
• Mentor team members through actionable feedback.
