Senior Data Engineer

About the role

The Senior Data Engineer will develop and scale the company's data platform while coordinating cross-functional initiatives with stakeholders in marketing, product, and portfolio. This role involves bridging technical expertise with project leadership to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. The position reports to the Head of DevOps, IT, and Data Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement cross-functional data projects from conception to delivery.
• Maintain and evolve the data platform, including introducing a data catalog and evaluating dbt for legacy pipeline replacement.
• Design and implement complex data architectures and models to support self-service analytics.
• Coach and mentor junior and peer engineers to strengthen team competence and establish engineering standards.
