Tax & Finance Operations Intern

About the role

Taxforce is an AI-powered tax advisory startup building the future of tax services for underserved industries. As an intern, you will work directly with the founders to support operational and advisory tax work, internal controlling, and the automation of financial processes. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the development of new tax advisory playbooks.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of invoicing and support funds and cashflow management
• Support the monthly internal bookkeeping and financial close
• Build and maintain reporting and controlling analyses
• Prepare ongoing financial accounting including receipt capture, booking, and account reconciliation
• Prepare annual financial statement packages and business analyses
• Provide input on tax returns and pre-filings at draft level
• Support digital mail and tax assessment processing through deadline control and document classification
• Test and document internal tools and workflows to contribute to automating recurring tasks

Qualifications

• Currently studying business administration, economics, law, tax or a related field
• Previous internship or working student experience in Tax, Accounting, Finance or Consulting
