Student Research Assistant

About the role

The Survey Data Curation department at GESIS is seeking student research assistants to support service and research activities. The role involves processing and preparing social science research data to support sociological and political science research. Assistants will contribute to the Survey Data Augmentation team's work on linking survey data with other data types.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the team’s full range of service and research activities in the office in Cologne
• Data collection and management
• Analysis and visualization of research data
• Literature research
• Assisting with the preparation of events such as methodology courses and research workshops

Required skills

• Social sciences
