Financial Auditor – Product & Methodology

About the role

This role is for an auditor with a deep interest in audit methodology to help translate complex standards into structured logic for an AI-driven audit platform. You will work closely with the product and engineering teams to refine AI workflows, ensure compliance with auditing standards, and shape the future of audit technology. The position requires rigorous process thinking and the ability to bridge the gap between traditional audit requirements and technical implementation.

Responsibilities

• Work as a standing part of the product process by joining reviews and design sessions, providing feedback on prototypes, and helping prioritise the roadmap.
• Translate complex ISA (UK) and international auditing standards into structured, executable logic for the product and engineering team.
• Write, test, and refine the prompts and decision logic that drive AI audit workflows.
• Ensure audit documentation quality aligns with ISA (UK) 230 and related requirements.
• Safeguard auditor independence and ensure compliance with the FRC Ethical Standard and ICAEW/ACCA Code of Ethics.
• Travel regularly to the Berlin hub to work in person with the product and engineering team.
