About the role

As a working student at Nyala, you will support the legal and compliance team in developing our product offerings and navigating regulatory requirements. You will work directly with the Anti-Money Laundering, Compliance, and Risk Officer to manage operational tasks, prepare reports, and maintain internal guidelines. This role offers the opportunity to actively shape the development of blockchain-related legislation and gain a comprehensive view of a regulated financial business.

Responsibilities

• Implement regulatory requirements and communicate with supervisory authorities
• Apply and develop legal frameworks including eWpG, eWpRV, KWG, and GwG
• Prepare decision-ready documents and manage deadlines and follow-ups
• Create reports for company functionaries and maintain key performance indicators
• Update guidelines, manuals, and work instructions
• Support annual and special audits
