About the role
As a student assistant in IT Enterprise Architecture & System Landscape, you will support the IT and architecture team in the structured recording and modeling of the company's IT landscape. You will gain practical insights into Enterprise Architecture Management, IT governance, and the digitalization of an international logistics company by working closely with architects, IT managers, and product owners. Your role involves documenting applications, systems, interfaces, and data flows to ensure transparency as the company grows.
Responsibilities
- Support the structured recording of the existing IT landscape
- Document applications, systems, platforms, interfaces, and technical components
- Record system responsibilities, usage contexts, lifecycles, and dependencies
- Assist in modeling business, application, data, and technology architectures
- Create and maintain central architecture and system overviews
- Document data flows, integrations, and application interfaces
- Prepare and follow up on interviews and workshops with IT and departments
- Identify information gaps, inconsistencies, and outdated entries
- Contribute to the development of standards, templates, and modeling guidelines
- Prepare architecture documentation, decision papers, and management summaries
