About the role

Workidentity is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Hamburg. This role focuses on the proactive development and optimization of modern IT infrastructure, including network, security, and cloud environments, rather than purely operational maintenance. The successful candidate will take responsibility for infrastructure projects and collaborate with internal departments and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Operation and further development of modern IT infrastructure
• Focus on network, infrastructure, and security topics
• Participation and responsibility in infrastructure projects
• Further development of Microsoft, cloud, and hybrid environments
• Support of server, storage, and network components
• Analysis and resolution of complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support
• Collaboration with internal departments and external partners
• Contribution of new ideas for process, security, and infrastructure optimization
