Senior AI Data Expert

About the role

This role operates at the intersection of data engineering, machine learning, data science, and analytics to build and scale the data foundation for a mobile gaming engagement platform. You will function as a generalist, moving across disciplines to solve the highest-value data problems while utilizing AI tools as a core part of your daily workflow. The position requires an engineering mindset and entrepreneurial ownership to build, own, and maintain systems that drive business performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines on Databricks.
• Build and manage the Data Lakehouse, including migrating legacy data products.
• Monitor and optimize data stacks for nightly and near-real-time processing.
• Turn business questions into decision-ready analysis.
• Integrate AI tools into daily planning, building, debugging, and documentation workflows.
• Manage project context and memory for AI tools to ensure long-term effectiveness.
• Run parallel AI-assisted coding tasks using Git worktrees.
