About the role

Amnesty International Deutschland is seeking an Activism Coordinator to focus on human rights education and training. The role involves developing strategic approaches to human rights education, coordinating educational projects, and strengthening the connection between education and movement building. You will work to activate new target groups and foster collaborations with educational institutions and civil society organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop the strategic direction of human rights education and training programs.
• Conceptualize, coordinate, and support educational offerings and projects.
• Strengthen the link between human rights education, engagement, and movement building.
• Integrate human rights education perspectives into current campaigns.
• Build and maintain networks with educational institutions and civil society partners.
• Initiate and manage cross-departmental projects.
• Identify funding opportunities, acquire third-party funds, and manage project implementation.
