About the role
Amnesty International Deutschland e.V. is seeking an Activism Coordinator to focus on human rights education and training. The role involves developing strategic approaches to human rights education, coordinating educational projects, and fostering engagement to build the movement. This is a 2-year fixed-term position based in Berlin.
Responsibilities
- Develop the strategic direction of human rights education and training programs.
- Design, coordinate, and facilitate educational offerings and project formats.
- Strengthen the connection between human rights education, engagement, and movement building.
- Integrate human rights education perspectives into current campaigns and work priorities.
- Build and maintain networks and collaborations with educational institutions and civil society organizations.
- Initiate and manage cross-departmental projects and collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Identify funding opportunities, acquire third-party grants, and manage the implementation of funded projects.
