International Audio/Video Remote Burmese and Karen Interpreter

About the role

As an audio/video interpreter for Burmese and Karen in the LSA network, you will handle on-demand calls to facilitate communication for the Limited English Proficient community. This role involves providing interpretation services across a variety of settings via a web-based platform.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective audio and video interpreting through a web based platform
• Answer inbound calls in a timely manner
• Provide superior customer service
• Adhere to Code of Professional Conduct, including maintaining strict standards of confidentiality
• Adhere to all policies and procedures, including professional interpretation protocols and industry specific best practices
