About the role

As an IVU Expert at FlixTrain, you will serve as the primary point of contact for the IVU planning tool, bridging the gap between operational and personnel planning. You will be responsible for optimizing schedules and service sequences while ensuring accurate, location-specific personnel requirements are met to support the company's growth. This role is critical for enabling informed recruiting and operational decision-making within the COO area.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact and Super User for the IVU planning tool, driving its implementation and continuous development.
• Train internal staff and external partners on IVU usage and best practices.
• Implement and develop the new intra-year construction module according to Annex VII processes, including committee work and support for regulatory topics.
• Optimize rosters, services, and service sequences to improve quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Calculate mid- to long-term personnel requirements and provide location-specific FTE forecasts.
• Model various personnel demand scenarios to derive recommendations for recruiting targets.
