About the role

The City of Frankfurt am Main is seeking an AI Compliance Manager to support the Stadt-Up Frankfurt initiative. This role involves driving AI initiatives by ensuring compliance, security, and ethical standards are met across the city's digital infrastructure. You will work within the Office for Information and Communication Technology to integrate AI solutions into municipal services.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and evaluate potential risks associated with the introduction and use of AI in collaboration with technical teams.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of security concepts and requirements based on the BSI IT-Grundschutz compendium regarding AI.
• Advise on legal, technical, and organizational measures in accordance with Article 32 of the GDPR for AI applications.
• Develop and maintain an AI ethics compass and organizational guidelines for AI-related legal topics.
• Manage data protection and information security documentation for the Office for Information and Communication Technology.
• Develop IT compliance strategies for the city's overall IT infrastructure and maintain a knowledge base of relevant AI-related laws and regulations.
