Senior Chef de Partie

About the role

The Senior Chef de Partie supports the kitchen brigade in delivering exceptional dining experiences to members and guests. You will be instrumental in preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes while contributing to menu development and ensuring compliance with food safety and allergy procedures. The role also involves acting as a role model and mentor to junior kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to the highest standards in quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Support the Sous Chef and Head Chef in delivering efficient and well-organized service during busy periods and events.
• Ensure full compliance with all food safety, allergy, hygiene, and health standards, including HACCP and company policies.
• Take ownership of mise en place and prep tasks, ensuring all elements are ready and of high quality for service.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of Commis Chefs and Demi Chefs de Partie, helping to develop their technical skills and kitchen knowledge.
• Attending regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about any menu or service changes and specials alongside daily tastings.
• Assist in preparation of team meals as requested, considering dietary needs and variety.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning, improvement, and teamwork.
• Supporting with the deep cleaning of the entire kitchen before close.
• Wrapping unused items and storing them in proper area at the end of service.
