Senior Data Scientist - Personalization & Predictions

About the role

Bloomreach is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join the Artificial Intelligence team and own the algorithmic core of their personalization platform. You will frame complex business problems, work with large-scale behavioural data, and build models for predictions, contextual bandits, and autosegmentation. This role focuses on driving business metrics through rigorous experiment design and data-driven insights.

Responsibilities

• Frame vague business questions into measurable problems before modelling.
• Work with behavioural data, product catalogues, and event streams to identify predictive signals.
• Build and evaluate models including propensity, churn, contextual bandits, and uplift.
• Design offline metrics, backtests, and A/B tests to validate model performance.
• Collaborate with ML Engineering to ensure smooth production handoffs.
• Communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders including Product and Engineering leadership.
