About the role
Algo1 is building an AI-native product to transform the in-store grocery shopping experience. This role involves working within the platform engineering pod to accelerate the development of the company's platform, focusing on backend infrastructure and agentic-first workflows. You will be responsible for building scalable, reliable systems that support product pods, shoppers, and retail partners.
Responsibilities
- Own product security, including authentication and authorisation across all services.
- Develop and maintain reliable, automated release cycles for production.
- Manage cloud environments supporting prototyping and backend microservices.
- Gatekeep the quality of APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architecture.
- Improve internal agentic harnesses to enable other engineers to develop and prototype.
- Implement agentic automation across the platform stack.
