Medical Data Officer

About the role

The Medical Data Officer works in collaboration with the Study Medical Reviewer to manage and review the medical consistency of clinical data. This role ensures that medical data within the database is accurate, reliable, and analyzable to support clinical research milestones.

Responsibilities

• Review protocols with a focus on safety management, inclusion criteria, and study design.
• Perform database specification reviews and user acceptance testing on eCRF and validation tools.
• Participate in the identification and implementation of protocol deviation detection methods.
• Conduct medical coding of adverse events, medical history, and treatments.
• Perform medical review of data entered by investigators and issue manual queries for clarification or correction.
• Identify non-serious adverse events based on study strategy and support data extraction for milestones.
